Women’s League Child Development Center celebrates children. We instill a love of learning, enabling children to fulfill their potential and prepare for academically and socially successful life experience. Accredited by the prestigious National Association for the Education of Young Children, we provide the highest quality early childhood education.

In 1994, after a major capital fund campaign, the Women’s League opened a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility specially designed for its mission. While equipped with everything from a commercial kitchen to a computer lab, we are already looking forward to further expansion to meet the growing need.

Our highly trained and skilled staff are dedicated to developing each child into a healthy, positive and confident individual. Programs, activities and field trips stimulate intellectual development, develop communication skills, promote social adjustment and sound physical growth, and build a child’s positive self-image as well as refining understanding of self and others. Each family’s culture is respected and parent participation is encouraged.

The parents whose children attend the League’s Child Development Center are employed, in training or in school. Many have no one else to care for their children. We want to respond to their needs, just as we were able to provide assistance to their parents and grandparents.

The Women’s League is dedicated to the Hartford community-now and in the future.
